Diner Leaves Bad Review Of Closed Restaurant... And Gets This X-Rated Reply

A diner who posted a bad online review of a restaurant after she arrived to find it closed is fuming after a member of staff told her to ‘f*** off’.

Jennifer Bennett reserved a table at Portuguese eatery Lusitano in Chorlton, Manchester, using popular discount website Groupon.

But when she arrived with her husband for the meal on Friday night, she was annoyed to find the business was “closed for repairs.”

The 31-year-old emailed the restaurant to complain.

When she heard nothing back, she left a negative review on its Facebook page.

And she was left stunned when an angry member of staff replied: “Just f*ck off lady.”

The copywriter, from Urmston in Manchester, said: “They didn’t mention anything on the phone about it closing imminently.”

She wrote on the post: “Had a table booked for Friday at 7:30, turned up and you were closed?!

"I’ve emailed you about it and still awaiting a response and there’s no answer when I call!

"After spending £6.50 on a taxi to Chorlton we ended up having to eat elsewhere so it was not the cheap night out we had hoped for!”

While most businesses would go out of their way to help an unhappy customer, the restaurant simply replied: “Just f*** off lady.”

The response has received huge attention online as Jennifer’s screenshots were shared on Facebook and Twitter.

One Facebook user, Lauren Hutchinson, joked: “Best customer service ever! If that’s how you react on Facebook. In public. Where everyone can see…what on earth would you do to my food?!”

Meanwhile, Jennifer has forwarded her complaints to Groupon, but has yet to hear anything back.

She said: “I just want to point out, I’m not angry about the restaurant being closed or the £12 I spent on Groupon, obviously if they’ve gone out of business that’s really unfortunate.

"But watch how you speak to people because it can affect your business. I don’t deserve to be spoken to like that.”

Lusitano Restaurant was unavailable for comment yesterday.
