    Downtown Edmonton arena drawings released

    Edmontonians are getting a peek at what a new downtown arena might look like.

    The project management company, ICON Venue Group, released drawings on its website Thursday conceptualizing the interior of the proposed arena.

    Earlier this week the city announced it had appointed of ICON as project manager of the arena. The city is in final negotiations with 360 Architecture as the architect.

    ICON has been the manager for arena projects in Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Phoenix and Denver and five others over the past decade.
