Electrical explosion sends one to hospital in Fredericton
One person was sent to hospital after an electrical explosion this morning at King's Place Mall in Fredericton, according to a public safety spokesperson for the city.
The fire department was called at about 8:40 a.m., said Alycia Morehouse.
The person's injuries are not life threatening, according to Morehouse.
Firefighters are still on the scene, along with investigators from Worksafe NB, and a provincial electrical inspector, said Morehouse.
Someone from NB Power is also on hand, according to the fire department, and the power at the mall is off for testing.
