    Expo loaded with big names

Star Trek Next Generation reunion, Adam West and Draco Malfoy.

Not much else needs to be said about the spectacular line-up of guests descending upon Calgary in April for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, for what promises to be the best Calgary Expo yet.

“We have never had such a big lineup,” said Kandrix Foong, event director for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo.

    “It should be pretty crazy.”

Along with the Star Trek NG reunion, fans can expect to see stars such as Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter) and even Dave Prowse (the man under Darth Vader’s mask).

“It’s going to be rad. Hayden (Panettiere), James (Marsters), and Batman. My nerdy head will explode when I see them,” said Brandon Chaisson, eager expo-goer.

Chaisson will be attending the expo with Buffy the Vampire Slayer memorabilia in hand for signing.

“Although Batman is my favourite comic book hero, Buffy was, no, is my life,” said Chaisson.

There are still a limited amount of VIP tickets left, but they will not be released until March 1 at 10 a.m.

The February batch of VIP tickets were snapped up in a matter of seconds.

Fans can look out for other additions to the already star-studded lineup later this month.
