Firefighters help free stranded window cleaner

A window washer was safely removed from a problematic situation that emerged when her hair got caught in a descending rope line outside a building in downtown Toronto on Monday afternoon.

Toronto firefighters were called to a building at 150 Gerrard St. W., just after noon.

Firefighters managed to get the window washer down by breaking a glass window, so that she could be lifted up and have her hair released from the line.

The window cleaner was able to get down safely. She was not injured.
