NOVA.SCOTIA (CBC) - All Nova Scotians are now eligible for the H1N1 vaccine.
Up until Friday, the province's vaccination program was restricted to high-risk groups.
"We anticipate a steady supply of vaccine, which is why we have decided to open it to everyone," Dr. Robert Strang, the province's chief public health officer, said in a release.
Public health officials said there are nearly 70,000 doses available and another 135,000 are expected early next week.
They warned that some districts could still experience temporary shortages depending on the number of people heading to vaccination clinics.
