Hedi Slimane's on a mission. The new lead at the house of Saint Laurent Paris (formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent) is focusing his attention on the label's revamped ready-to-wear line, Saint Laurent, which is set to debut…any minute now. The designer and his team took to Twitter to give fashion followers a peek inside the brand's new New York store on Mercer in Soho.
Since his takeover in March, Slimane has re-introduced the old Saint Laurent logo, moved the design house from Paris to LA, presented his collection to buyers only and has remain mum about his new direction.
Glazed gold surfaces, marble from wall to wall, mirrors for days and that signature Slimane cool are all in store for the new shop. With no opening date set, keep your phones locked on @YSL for the latest from the design genius.
