Leonardo DiCaprio Raises Millions at Saint-Tropez Gala -- Actors, Models and Reality Stars Attend
Leonardo DiCaprio's third annual fundraising auction gala had more celebrities than some awards shows.
The Oscar winner's foundation was able to raise $45 million at the Saint-Tropez party on Wednesday night. Proceeds will go to the charity's efforts to protect the earth from climate change. The gala also honored victims and survivors of the recent tragedy in Nice, France by donating a portion of the evening's proceeds to GiveforFrance.org. DiCaprio even made a personal donation.

It wouldn't be a DiCaprio party without a few models. Constance Jablonski, Joan Smalls, Doutzen Kroes, Lily Donaldson and Anja Rubik showed up to support the 41-year-old actor's cause, though his new girlfriend, Nina Agdal, was not spotted at the soiree. "Last night in St Tropez before the LDF gala," Kroes captioned a pic of her model friends. "I was there on behalf of the @elephantcrisisfund and @savetheelephants and I hope we raised a lot of money and awareness for our beautiful planet❤️ #ldfgala2016 #leonardodicapriofoundation 📸@moalturki."
In addition, a number of DiCaprio's friends and peers were on the event chairs, including Jonah Hill, Kate Hudson, Tobey Maguire, Edward Norton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Spacey, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Robert De Niro, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron and global fundraising chair, Milutin Gatsby.

While DiCaprio is notoriously tight-lipped about his personal life, he is very vocal about his passion for environmental conservation. He even used his Oscars acceptance speech to make his views known. "Climate change is real, it is happening right now," The Revenant star said upon winning for Best Actor for the first time in his career. "It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating."
