ST. GEORGE, N.B. - Students at Fundy High School in St. George were sent home today because of a chemical spill at the school. Acting Superintendent Jenny MacDougall said the spill was discovered early this morning before students attended classes.

SAINT JOHN - A New Brunswick child and family report card shows the province is not doing very well when it comes to battling child poverty. The Saint John Human Development Council report says the 2007 child poverty rate in New Brunswick was the fourth-highest in the country at 16.7%.
