A Ming’s Bight man died Thursday night following a single-vehicle collision in the Baie Verte Peninsula community.

It started as a routine patrol in the Zhari district of Afghanistan for Warrant Officer Dale Verge of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, (PPCLI) and his small group of Canadian soldiers, along with a handful of Afghan police members.

The Green Bay Food Bank is looking for some extra hands. Located in the back of the Living Waters Ministries building in Springdale, the food bank serves an average of 25 to 40 families a month, with more people using it near the Christmas season than any other time.
