The Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB), in collaboration with various cultural communities in the region, has created multilingual posters welcoming students and families in 28 different languages.

A couple of would-be robbers got a bit of a surprise Tuesday (Dec. 8), when the man they tried to rob at knifepoint not only refused to hand over any cash, but chased the suspects up the street then called police.

The Canadian Food Grain Bank Growing Project 2009 is the 17th year that the KRN Corn Committee has co-ordinated a Community Growing Project in West Elgin. It is also the 13th year that the project is taking place on a 25 acre parcel of land owned by the John Miller family.

A dedication stone has been set in place outside the Rodney Library in honour of the two longest serving members in the history of the Rodney and District Horticultural Society.
