Man found dead in Mississauga building

A man was found dead inside a Mississauga building on Monday, where police believe he had been performing electrical work on the weekend.

Peel Regional Police say they were called to a building at 1140 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W., after the man’s body was discovered.

The coroner attended the scene. Const. George Tudos told CBC News that the coroner has requested a post-mortem be conducted.

The Ministry of Labour is now investigating.

Tudos said the ministry is notified in cases in which someone is injured, or killed, while working at their job.
