Missing snowmobiler found on Northern Peninsula
Police and local search teams have found a snowmobiler who got separated from her group near the area of Raft Pond behind Hawke's Bay.
RCMP responded to the call in the early morning hours. Police and the Long Range Search and Rescue Team began scouring the area.
A number of local residents and cabin owners also joined in the search on snowmobiles. Air support was requested from the province, and a helicopter was dispatched.
The 30-year-old woman from Port Au Choix was found by ground searchers at around 8 a.m. and brought to hospital.
Police credited the efforts of all involved with contributing to the success of the search.
