A mysterious blue bin that sits in the parking lot of the Bissell Centre's south Edmonton drop-off location belongs to another Edmonton charity.
On Thursday, Bruce Uditsky, the CEO of the Alberta Association for Community Living, claimed ownership of the bin, the day after a story aired on CBC News.
Uditsky says a sign identifying his organization either fell off or was removed from the bin.
"It was brought to our attention, so we've replaced the sign," he said.
The bin has been there for years, Uditsky said. The Bissell Centre location used to house an IGA grocery store.
Questions were raised about clothing donation boxes earlier this week, after a CBC News story revealed that some are set up by private operators who sell used clothing for profit overseas.
