German Defence Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg visits soldiers stationed in Afghanistan on November 13. Zu Guttenberg told parliament that Germany's top soldier has resigned over a controversial strike in northern Afghanistan in September in which NATO says as many as 142 people died.
