Fair visitors inspect a Seat Leon car at an auto show in Frankfurt/Main in 2005. SEAT, the ailing Spanish subsidiary of German auto giant Volkswagen, said Thursday it planned to cut production at its plant in northeastern Spain next year due to a downturn in demand.
