Beijing Summer Olympics
The first torchbearers former speed skater Catriona Le May Doan (2nd R) and tri-athlete Simon Whitfield (R) and second torchbearers diver Alexandre Despatie (2nd L) and former rower Silken Laumann (L) acknowledge crowd following the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Victoria, British Columbia October 30, 2009. The torch will now begin 106-day journey across Canada before arriving at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games on February 12.
