VIDEO: Seven-time champion Lance Armstrong described next year's Tour de France, unveiled on Wednesday, as open to a bigger field of rivals, with a route that puts less emphasis on mountain top finishes and time trials. The 97th edition of the Tour will begin in Rotterdam on July 3 and cross Belgium and France to end in Paris on July 25, covering some 3,590 kilometres.
