Flames emerge from underneath the ground in Pamekasan, Indonesia's East Java province October 29, 2009. Villagers said, like their ancestors, they used the natural gas for cooking to save money from buying fuel as the recent prices of kerosene and gas soared. Indonesia has some of the world's largest deposits of natural gas.
