Palestinian Authority president Mahmud Abbas heads a meeting ...

Palestinian Authority president Mahmud Abbas heads a meeting of the Fatah party's executive committee in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Abbas has been a 'true partner' of the United States, the White House said Thursday, after the Palestinian president announced he would not seek re-election in January.
