NEW YORK, New York -- Adam Lambert hit the set of 'The View' on Tuesday to pre-tape his appearance on the daytime talk show set to air Thursday -- and lived to Twitter about it.The singer's visit to the show -- his first to ABC since his controversial performance on the American Music Awards last month led to him being booted from 'Good Morning America,' 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and 'New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2010' -- was characterized as a peace offering from the network by 'View' co-Executive Producer Bill Geddie.
