Ottawa man charged after police find child pornography on iPod
A 25-year-old Ottawa man is expected to appear in court today after being charged with child pornography offences.
Ottawa police arrested the man Friday after getting a tip in November a registered sex offender was in possession of child pornography, stored on an iPod.
A forensic examination of the iPod found 76 images of prepubescent child pornography, police said.
The man has been charged with three counts of possessing child pornography, one count of accessing child pornography and one count of breaching a probation order.
He is scheduled to appear in court today for a bail hearing, said police.
The man's arrest came one day after police charged a minor with child pornography offences after a raid in the city's Beacon Hill neighbourhood.
