Artist unveils self-portrait of her brain
Angela Palmer unveiled a self-portrait of her grey matter at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery on Thursday (Jan. 30).
The piece, called Brain of the Artist showcases the Scottish artist's unique sculptural technique, in which digital information provided by medical scanners is used to inspire a three-dimensional image. That image is then engraved or drawn on glass.
