Debris from Great Pacific Garbage Patch
Crew members from the tall ship Kaisei returned from their voyage to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to Richmond, B.C. on August 8. The group representing Ocean Voyages Institute aims to spread awareness of the man-made floating garbage island in the North Pacific as debris begins to wash up on North American shores.
