'Flying Houses' create sense of magic
Employing traditional photography and digital manipulation, the surreal series, 'Flying Houses' by Laurent Chéhère, elevates architecture to a new level. Chéhère takes a variety of residential structures out of their defining neighborhood backdrops. Released from their choked streets, the houses float amidst the clouds, like kites. 'Flying Houses' is on exhibition at Galerie Paris-Beijing in Paris from Oct. 25 through Dec. 4. Chéhère will also show work at this year's Art Miami Art Fair from Dec. 4 -9.
