HOUSTON – The weather should remain hot and humid with partly cloudy skies throughout the Memorial Day weekend as we get closer to the official start of summer, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
There is still a 30 percent chance of rain Friday evening as a line of storms in South Texas near San Antonio continue to move east along I-10. The system appears to be weakening Paul said, but could still bring some overnight rain and isolated showers for Saturday morning.
Looking at this holiday weekend, things will be hot, humid, and sticky with afternoon temperatures around 90 degrees for the next several days. The humidity will make it feel warmer than that, however. Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.
There’s a 20-percent chance for isolated showers through Monday, but our skies will still be mostly sunny.
