Peter Lougheed passes away

The former Alberta premier who was called "Mr. Alberta" passed away in a Calgary hospital that bears his name at age 84. He is credited with transforming the province into an economic powerhouse and battled the federal government over control of oil wealth. He was recently named the best Canadian premier of the last 40 years.
