'Statesman of the Year' is PM Harper

Prime Minister Stephen Harper received the World Statesman of the Year award in New York City on September 27. Harper came under fire earlier this week for planning to attend the ceremony for the award, but not intending to speak at the UN general assembly meeting at the same time in the same city.
