Toronto police are probing the suspicious death of a man whose body was found on an Etobicoke lawn on Sunday morning.
Police were called out to Midden Crescent just before 7 a.m. ET, after the man's body was discovered.
Staff Sgt. John Romain told CBC News the man was found lying face-down. The victim had suffered obvious trauma to the head, he added.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Monday.
Later on Sunday, police issued a news release asking for the public's help in identifying "the suspect's vehicle," which is described as a late-model, dark-coloured Sierra or Silverado pickup truck.
Police said the vehicle has aftermarket tires and rims.
A portion of a damaged hubcap was found at the scene.
According to the news release, "police believe it came off the suspect's vehicle."
