Toronto police say they will update the media on a suspicious death investigation prompted by the discovery of a man’s body on an Etobicoke lawn yesterday.
A man was found dead on Sunday morning, on a lawn of a house in the area of Martin Grove Road and The Westway.
Police say the victim had suffered trauma to his body.
Det. Scott Purches is scheduled to speak to the media on Monday evening.
Police had issued a release late Sunday saying they were seeking the public's help in identifying "the suspect's vehicle," which is described as a late-model, dark-coloured Sierra or Silverado pickup truck.
Police said the vehicle has aftermarket tires and rims.
A portion of a damaged hubcap was found at the scene.
According to the news release, "police believe it came off the suspect's vehicle."
