Prince Albert police hope shoe photo helps identify man

Prince Albert police are hoping a photo of a pair of shoes will lead them to solve a mystery.

Officers responded to the 400 block of 5th Avenue East at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. They say they found a man hurt and unresponsive in the street and believe he is between the ages of 15 and 20.

The man was taken to hospital, and is still being treated there.

Police said the man was wearing "distinct" Adidas shoes with bright green laces. They have released a photo of the sneakers, hoping someone will recognize them and be able to identify the injured man.

The man is described as:

- Aboriginal

- Between the ages of 15 and 20

- Short, black hair

- Brown eyes

Anyone with more information about his identity is asked to call Prince Albert police or Crime Stoppers.
