The mayor of Quebec City is in town, checking out some of Calgary's world class sports facilities.
Mayor Regis Labeaume said Quebec City is planning to build a $400 million arena, with hopes to attract an NHL team.
They're also looking to build a speed-skating facility.
Labeaume toured the Olympic Oval on Saturday.
He said he hopes to borrow some of the ideas he saw there.
“Trying to learn how it works, more in-depth. I mean, this cement pack stuff. Our people don't know, they don't know in Quebec City. That kind of venue, just creates research."
Quebec City lost their NHL team in 1995, when the Nordiques moved to Denver.
