I want to thank all those in the community who attended our second annual ‘Christmas with a Twistmas’ concert yesterday. The hard work and talent of both our students and staff was evident in the variety of performances that entertained our community. Our Christmas concert committee under the direction of Ms. Calibaba worked hard to organize and provide an exciting concert. For those of you who attended the evening concert, it is unfortunate for your children and our community to have experienced such a terrible and troubling event from a few adults who decided to bring their outside issues into our school. It is unacceptable for adults to display behaviour in our school that contradicts our values of Kindness, Fairness and Respect and put our community at risk with such foolish and unsafe behaviour. We do not tolerate actions such as these from our students and nor will we allow adults fighting in our school as well. These actions will not overshadow the positive performance of our students and your children. I am thankful for the response of our community after these events at the concert in recognizing the positive and hard work that our staff and students put in each and every day. We appreciate your support and wish you and your family safe and happy holidays."— Luke Friesen (Principal) Santa may have a new name for his naughty list after an altercation at a Regina elementary school Tuesday night.
