LONDON (AFP) - New Zealand, after losing the toss, were 109 for five at tea on the first day of the first Test against England at Lord's Thursday.
Brendon McCullum was 36 not out and Jacob Oram nought not out after rain meant there was no play before lunch.
This match was the first of a three-Test series.
