Fort Hood shooter named as Major Hassan Malik
WASHINGTON (AFP) - A gunman killed after opening fire at the Fort Hood military base in Texas on Thursday has been identified as Army Major Hassan Malik, a US official said.
At least 12 people were killed and 31 people injured in the attack after up to three individuals opened fire at the military facility.
