Saskatchewan government passes law mandating fixed election dates

REGINA - The Saskatchewan government has passed a law mandating fixed election dates.

The vote will now be held every four years on the first Monday in November.

Premier Brad Wall noted that his first act after taking office was to announce the date of the next provincial election - Nov. 7, 2011.
