REGINA - Saskatchewan's government is being told to cough up details on "who's in and who's out" when it comes to being covered by proposed essential services legislation.
The Opposition NDP says ministries are making lists of essential workers - even though the regulations for the legislation are not complete.
For instance, the minister of tourism and parks says 45 people in water quality areas would be essential.
But NDP labour critic Andy Iwanchuk argues that if the ministries have such lists, then the information should be made public.
The act itself does not specifically list which public sector workers will be affected.
Labour Minister Rob Norris says the public service commission asked the ministries to do the analysis, but Norris says he can't provide details because the work is ongoing.
