MONTREAL - Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B) says its aerospace division has chosen PW307B engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada for its all-composite Learjet 85 corporate aircraft.
"We aim to redefine the midsize category with the all-new Learjet 85 aircraft by offering customers superior performance, an extraordinary cabin and exceptional value," said David Coleal, Learjet's vice-president and general manager.
Pratt & Whitney vice-president Claude Lachapelle said the alliance is the second with Learjet and the 10th engine program with Bombardier.
Bombardier B shares traded Monday at $6.47, down six cents, at the Toronto Stock Exchange.
