TORONTO - Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty says he will lead a trade mission to China in the fall with an emphasis on environmental technologies.
McGuinty says the national leadership in China now understands that pollution is of concern to ordinary Chinese families and wants help dealing with it.
He says that's a change from when he was last in the Asian country three years ago.
McGuinty notes that Ontario has extensive experience and expertise when it comes to environmental technologies.
The delegation, with 25 companies in tow, will visit Shanghai and Nanjing.
McGuinty will then join other premiers as part of the Council of the Federation, which will be visiting the Chinese capital.
