RALEIGH, N.C. - Relatives have held a public memorial for a North Carolina mother whose body was found at a construction site near her home in a Raleigh suburb.
A local TV station (WRAL-TV) reports that Nancy Cooper's relatives hosted the service in Cary, where Cooper lived.
Cooper's husband, Bradley, told police that she disappeared after she went jogging on July 12.
Her body was found two days later. No suspects have been named.
Nancy Cooper's parents have won temporary custody of the children, claiming in court filings that her husband was having an affair.
They also say he was emotionally unstable and posed a danger to the girls.
