No school following fire
PRINCE.EDWARD.ISLAND (CBC) - Students at East Wiltshire School in Cornwall, P.E.I., will get an extra day on the long weekend following a fire on Thursday.
A small fire in a fan on the roof of the building spread smoke rapidly through the school's ventilation system. The school was quickly evacuated and the students sent home.
Workers at the school have not been able to finish repairs on the ventilation system.
Crews will continue working to fix the fan Friday.
