WINNIPEG (CBC) - Two people were sent to hospital after separate collisions Friday morning in Winnipeg.
The first happened at about 8 a.m. and involved several vehicles at the intersection of Wilkes Avenue and Waverley Street in the city's southwest corner.
The crash blocked both directions of morning rush hour traffic on Wilkes, which is a major thoroughfare.
The second collision happened around 8:30 a.m. and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian at Vermillion Road and Beaverhill Boulevard in the city's Southdale neighbourhood.
No additional information was available on the condition of either victim in each of the collisions.
