BELGRADE (Reuters) - The pro-European Union Democratic Party of President Boris Tadic and its allies won "a very convincing victory" in Serbia's parliamentary election on Sunday, the independent monitoring organization CESID said.
A projection of the result based on a sample gave Tadic's party and its smaller allies 39 percent of the vote compared to 28.6 percent for the nationalist Radicals of opposition leader Tomislav Nikolic, a CESID official said.
