CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc said on Tuesday it has canceled plans to build a new refinery near Sarnia, Ontario, blaming market conditions and inflationary pressures.
Shell had been studying the feasibility of a new plant in St. Clair Township since 2006. The refinery was to have produced 150,000 to 200,000 barrels a day.
