HOUSTON (Reuters) - The San Antonio Spurs have re-signed forward/center Kurt Thomas, the team said on its website (www.spurs.com) on Tuesday.
Thomas joined the team in February from Seattle and appeared in 28 games last season, averaging 4.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. He played in all 17 playoff games.
Terms of the contract were not announced.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed in principle on terms of a contract with guard Sebastian Telfair, the team said on their website (www.timberwolves.com).
Telfair averaged 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and a career-high 5.9 assists last season before spraining his left ankle and missing the final 21 games of the season.
