KAZAN, Russia, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Dynamo Kiev held Rubin Kazan to a 0-0 draw in a scrappy Champions League encounter on Tuesday, denting both teams' hopes of progressing from Group F.
Russian champions Rubin, who clinched their second consecutive league title on Saturday, and their Ukrainian opponents had few clear chances in a game played in difficult conditions with snow falling on the pitch.
Rubin's Argentine striker Alejandro Dominguez missed the best chance late in the first half when his overhead kick was saved by Dynamo goalkeeper Olexander Shovkovsky and Alexander Bukharov headed over the bar with a follow-up.
The draw put Rubin, on six points, level with group leaders Inter Milan, who face European champions Barcelona at Nou Camp later on Tuesday, with Dynamo a point back in fourth place.
