Son Killed Elderly Dad By Lying On His Head ‘To Prove A Point’

(Police handout)

A man has been charged with murder after he lay down on his father’s head just to prove how “big and bad he was”.

Kyle Webb, 44, allegedly told police that he had killed his 74-year-old dad, Franklin Webb, after the pair argued over a leaky pipe.

Webb, from Missouri, USA, was said to be furious after his dad scolded him about the way he was cleaning up around the pipe in the home they shared together.

He then apparently tried to scare his father by threatening to hit him with an empty bottle of vodka - but he apparently took it seriously and tried to punch his son.

Franklin Webb’s attempted punch saw him fall backwards and hit a kitchen chair before falling to the floor.

Kyle Webb then allegedly jumped onto his father, telling police: “I had to prove how big and bad I was.”

Police say that he then put his dad’s arm across his throat and laid on top of his head, that was face down on the floor.

Kyle Webb then sat there for 12 minutes to “prove a point” about his ability to control his dad.

He called the police himself - three minutes after his father lost consciousness.

Franklin Webb was later declared dead in hospital.

His son has been charged with second degree murder.
