Police in Winnipeg are looking for a suspect following a report of a serious sexual assault in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to police, around 4:30 a.m. CT a 16-year-old girl was at a bus stop near near Sargent Avenue and Maryland Street when a small white car pulled up.
Police said a man got out of the car, grabbed the girl and pulled her into the vehicle, despite her attempts to get away.
They say the man drove around for 10 minutes and then, when stopped in the area of Ellice Avenue and King Edward Street, sexually assaulted the teen.
The victim was then pushed out of the vehicle and the suspect took off.
The teen made her way to a nearby business where she called police.
Police said they are looking for a male suspect about 30 years old, with a medium build, short black hair and a short beard.
The suspect vehicle is a small, white, four-door car with a black pinstripe on the side.
