Three adults were bitten by a dog on Sunday in southeast Calgary.
It happened in Cranston when a Doberman Cross was running around without a leash.
Sue Wall, with Calgary Animal and Bylaw Services, said officers are taking the incident very seriously.
“The investigation involves speaking obviously to witnesses, victims and the dog owner and trying to determine what happened here....we’ll be checking documentation as to the rabies," Wall said.
The current fine for allowing a dog to run at large is $100.
