Two people are dead and two others seriously injured in a crash on Highway 63 south of Fort McMurray, Alta.
RCMP say two vehicles appear to have been involved in the collision, one kilometre north of Wandering River.
A young boy was airlifted to the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton.
"His general condition while en route to hospital was critical and he had sustained potentially life-threatening injuries," said STARS Air Ambulance spokesperson Cam Heke.
Another man was taken by ground ambulance to Lac La Biche before also being flown to Edmonton.
There is no information on his condition.
